Google Panda Strikes Again! The Google Spam Panda is a mysterious creature that stalks it’s prey (spam), with a relentless and insatiable appetite for quality! Do not be fooled by this cute and cuddly creature because it truly is the night terror or many dreams!

Actually the latest Panda beat down is mostly a good thing in my book.

The Big G has found that too many websites are cluttering their content with advertisements that make it hard for the user to just get to the quality content we all so desperately desire when we ourselves are searching for information.

Primarily it appears that websites which have ads above the content instead of on the side or below the content, are seeing some pretty drastic drops in their SERPS (Search Engine Ranking Profiles).

Of course it’s not just spam websites that are feeling the blow. Several high quality sites have reported being knocked around as well. In fact I have seen a few good websites rankings being thrown wildly around over the last few days. Continue reading »

As an SEO marketer it always amazes me when I see other “SEO professionals” screw up arguably the most important aspect of offpage optimization which is the anchor text in their backlinks.

Just so we are all on the same page, let’s go over some basics as I don’t want to leave anyone behind here.

Offpage Optimization – Anything you are doing off of your website to maximize your SERPS

SERPS – Search Engine Ranking Profile (in more simple terms, where your website ranks).

Keywords - A word of great significance. In search engine optimization terms, a work or phrase you want to rank highly for.

Backlinks – A link (preferably one way) to your website from another website.

One way link – Website “A” links to your website but you are not linking back to Website A. If you did link back to Website A it would be called a receprical link which No Es Buenos for SEO!

Anchor Text – The text used for the part that people click on to go to your website.

Example: This is a free SEO Training. “SEO Training” is my keyword anchor text Continue reading »

I love AweberIn this Aweber Review you will get the facts about this unique autoresponder and see exactly why I love AWeber and I think you will too.

I’ve been a full time online marketer for just over 2 years now and one thing I had to learn the hard way was having the highest quality autoresponder is so crucial to creating lasting success.

I started out using a couple of Other Autoresponders:

My first one claimed to be the cheapest and in fact, it was. The problem was that my emails were frequently not getting through to their intended recipient!

I put a lot of work and effort into getting someone to subscribe to my list and I want my emails to go through to the person who has requested to get them.

Well the bounce rate (emails not going through) was much higher than they claimed it would be. Continue reading »

Magnetic Sponsoring ReviewMagnetic Sponsoring by Mike Dillard was designed specifically for MLM and Network Marketers who are looking to create their fortune online but does it really work?

It wasn’t that long ago that Mike was waiting tables at PF Changs, and struggling to make ends meet. That all changed a few years ago when he decided to start marketing his business online and he was able to use some very simple but specific strategies to literally recruit thousands of people into his downline nearly over night.

In fact he became a millionaire just 18 months after her started his online marketing journey!

Now that may get you excited but I want to tell you up front that his program is not for everyone. Mike does not pitch a get rich quick mentality by any means. Actually he will tell you the opposite, that if you are serious about your success you are going to have to put in some work, it’s not just going to be handed to you. Continue reading »

The difference between a Follow and No Follow link and what it means to you.

In 2005 Google implemented an html code to combat all of the link spam that was taking place on blogs. It was called NoFollow and the coding looks like this:

<a rel=”nofollow” href=”http://YourWebsiteHere”>This is Your Anchor Text</a>

Google gives all websites a page rank (PR) from 0 – 10 and the higher the PR the more valuable a backlink is from that site. The nofollow code tells Google (Bing and Yahoo also use the code now) not to pass any of the page rank on to the site where the backlink is going.

Many of the Web 2.0 websites such as Twitter and Facebook strictly use nofollow on their backlinks so you do not get credit for having a backlink on their site. This helps prevent people from trying to spam their backlink over and over in an attempt to artificially gain in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Page).

99% of all blogs use the no follow tag in their comments section as well which always makes me laugh that people spend so much time blog commenting trying to build backlinks because it really doesn’t do much to benefit you unless you are building relationships through your comment. The 15k Per Month FormulaThe 15k Per Month Formula is one of the most anticipated programs ever within the Internet Marketing community and for good reason, it’s amazing! You’ll find out why in this review.

David Wood has put together 7 Modules of Cutting Edge Online Marketing techniques and strategies from several of the biggest names in the industry that started with nothing.

The goal of this program is to take you to a 5 figure monthly income within 90 days by teaching you a daily action plan where if you are willing to simply follow it, you can’t go wrong!

That’s $10,000 or more per month in just 90 days for those of you who are a little slow with the math like me haha. Of course the goal is to get you to $15,000 per month but  even a 10k monthly income (that’s roughly $333.33 dollars every single day) will be a great start for most people.

Google Panda UpdateGoogle’s Panda update has scared a lot of people away from SEO. In fact, I have heard multiple “SEO Experts” say that it has ruined their ability to get their websites ranked in the top 10.

The funny thing is that nearly 100% of my rankings, encompassing close to 100 websites I have optimized for the search engines, have actually INCREASED in rank.

The truth of the matter is that all the Panda update did was help get rid of a lot of the riffraff “black hat” SEO marketers. If your rankings are based upon trying to cheat the system rather than add quality to it, of course you are eventually going to get found out and slapped for it.

Most notably Google’s update targeted duplicate content. Meaning if you are trying to game the system by posting the exact same content all over the place in order to get more backlinks, or if you have signed up for  a service that automatically posts content to your website or blog so Google sees a lot of activity and content; you were probably slapped pretty hard.

Obviously if you were running a content business, you would want as much unique, relevant, quality content as possible. Sure much of the stuff may be the same context written in different words, but that’s great because it’s different strokes for different folks.

However, what you wouldn’t want is the top 10 results all being carbon copies of the exact same thing!

Well, Google is no different and it updates it’s algorithms constantly trying to weed out the duplicates. In fact it had over 400 algorithm updates just last year alone!

So the moral of the story is, whenever you are going to do something to attempt to increase your rankings, ask yourself one question and you will always come out smelling like roses in the long run.

Does this add value to the Internet Community?

Stay Positive, Stay Focused!
