Website Layout SEO
Search Engines are now analyzing website layout and taking this into consideration for rankings. It wants websites to be clean, user friendly and to have unique content that is easily accessible.
There are exceptions to this rule but in general, Pop-ups, Pop-overs or anything else that could be misconstrued as an ad at the top of the website (especially non-java coding) is highly frowned upon and may significantly decrease your rankings.

The first sentence on each page should include your “Money Keywords” you used on your Title and Meta Description
The Google Spam Panda is a mysterious creature that stalks it’s prey (spam), with a relentless and insatiable appetite for quality! Do not be fooled by this cute and cuddly creature because it truly is the night terror or many dreams!
Actually the latest Panda beat down is mostly a good thing in my book.
The Big G has found that too many websites are cluttering their content with advertisements that make it hard for the user to just get to the quality content we all so desperately desire when we ourselves are searching for information.
Primarily it appears that websites which have ads above the content instead of on the side or below the content, are seeing some pretty drastic drops in their SERPS (Search Engine Ranking … Read More
As an SEO marketer it always amazes me when I see other “SEO professionals” screw up arguably the most important aspect of offpage optimization which is the anchor text in their backlinks.
Just so we are all on the same page, let’s go over some basics as I don’t want to leave anyone behind here.
Offpage Optimization – Anything you are doing off of your website to maximize your SERPS
SERPS – Search Engine Ranking Profile (in more simple terms, where your website ranks).
Keywords - A word of great significance. In search engine optimization terms, a work or phrase you want to rank highly for.
Backlinks – A link (preferably one way) to your website from another website.
One way link – Website “A” links to … Read More
The difference between a Follow and No Follow link and what it means to you.
In 2005 Google implemented an html code to combat all of the link spam that was taking place on blogs. It was called NoFollow and the coding looks like this:
<a rel=”nofollow” href=”http://YourWebsiteHere”>This is Your Anchor Text</a>
Google gives all websites a page rank (PR) from 0 – 10 and the higher the PR the more valuable a backlink is from that site. The nofollow code tells Google (Bing and Yahoo also use the code now) not to pass any of the page rank on to the site where the backlink is going.
Many of the Web 2.0 websites such as Twitter and Facebook strictly use nofollow on their … Read More
Google’s Panda update has scared a lot of people away from SEO. In fact, I have heard multiple “SEO Experts” say that it has ruined their ability to get their websites ranked in the top 10.
The funny thing is that nearly 100% of my rankings, encompassing close to 100 websites I have optimized for the search engines, have actually INCREASED in rank.
The truth of the matter is that all the Panda update did was help get rid of a lot of the riffraff “black hat” SEO marketers. If your rankings are based upon trying to cheat the system rather than add quality to it, of course you are eventually going to get found out and slapped for it.
Most notably Google’s update … Read More
Ever wonder why so many of the “gurus” launch new product after new product proclaiming each one to be “The One” to make you rich?
Could it possibly be because many of them don’t even know what they are teaching?
Of course this is not always the case but many of them got rich by pioneering a marketing method that is no longer sustainable (see the Google/YouTube slap).
At first they might teach their actual methodology to their students but it wouldn’t take long before the success stories started to shrink as more and more people begin to flood a particular segment of the marketplace and either drown out their potential audience or get their accounts closed down for spamming.
Refusal to acknowledge your fear will come at the cost of your dreams. This is a life lesson from my heart to yours.
Back in the year 2000 when I was 21, I spent 6 months reading all I could on real estate and speaking with real estate entrepreneurs, agents and mortgage brokers.
I built my knowledge to the point where I impressed a couple of different investors and had $400,000 accessible to me at any time to purchase a property.
I registered my own business, got business cards and started getting good tips on properties through a few of the contacts I made.
People throw around the word “goals” to loosely and much like New Year’s resolutions they are rarely accomplished or really even given a serious effort for a prolonged period of time.
What is a goal anyway? According to the dictionary goals are “the result or achievement toward which effort is directed.”
So when you set a goal you are saying that you are going to put out some effort towards a particular end result. In other words, you are going to “try”.
As the great Yoda once said though, “Do or do not, there is NO try”. These words may have been spoken by a Muppet on distant galaxy far far away but no truer words have ever been spoken.
When it comes to creating success and wealth there is no magic potion, no quick fix, and no “easy button” to press.
Get rich quick schemes fill the air waves, late night TV channels, and I’m sure you have noticed you can’t get away from them on Google, Facebook, or anywhere else online.
It’s time we ban together and start creating a shift in wealth creation thinking so we can collectively and as a whole begin to succeed in every aspect of our lives.
I’m going to take a quick look at some of the misconceptions people have about creating success and then tell you the 1 secret to how it is really done.
Hard work isn’t the answer.
There are a lot of people out there … Read More
There are far too many people and companies out there ready to tell you how fast and easily you can make money online if only you follow their cookie cutter system.
The truth is that online marketing really is simple and if you do it right you can make pretty good money quickly but it is not “easy”.
Easy implies that all you have to do is buy “their product”, put in some basic information, let “their system” do all of the work for you and gobs of cash will begin to flood into your bank account.
